Accelerate to English 12 helps develop reading and writing skills through active reading and analysis of literary devices, structure, and language, while exploring historical and cultural perspectives in texts.
By the end of this course, you will be able to do the following: Analyze and evaluate the reasoning in seminal American texts. Cite textual evidence to support your analysis of arguments. Analyze the impact of literary techniques used in literature. Analyze the impact of authors' choices regarding how to structure texts. Analyze how authors use complex characters and other literary elements for effect. Evaluate and analyze the elements of structure an author uses to make an argument. Analyze literary texts in the context they were written. Analyze how authors develop multiple themes and perspectives.
